The Three Cs In Life

“Three Cs in life: Choices, Chances and Change

You must make a choice to take a chance or life will never change”

Recently I made a major change in my life. It wasn’t made hurriedly. I had a choice. Stay in a city and state that has many great features or move interstate to a totally unfamiliar environment. I made the choice, took a chance and now love the changes. Having always lived in cool or cold weather climates I now live in a sub-tropical climate, closer to family. This move means making new friendships, charting a different course, taking risks and also having masses of trust that this is a worthwhile change.

Each day I marvel at the lushness of vegetation, relish the relative warmth of winter and am discovering a plethora of new adventures and opportunities. Best of all, it feels like I’ve finally found my tribe. It’s so easy to make friends and best of all I feel as though I’ve come home. Taking this gamble is already paying off in ways I’d never imagined possible.

Socrates is quoted as saying, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new”. This is what my focus and intention are at the moment, while simultaneously feeling gratitude for whatever else has been experienced previously.

Nevertheless not all choices result in change that feels positive, healthy or uplifting. Since leaving New York in 2013 I’ve moved house seven times. Each time I’ve hoped and trusted that the move was the “right” move, and each time something just felt a tad off. Yet with each move there were accompanying experiences and opportunities for growth and learning – all of which have been profound and truly worthwhile, even though they didn’t always feel that way!

The biggest change of all, however, is my decision to once again immerse myself in the work I love doing and which I’ve neglected somewhat these past five years. Telling myself that it’s good to have a hiatus, to have time to explore other options and possibilities was necessary as the time away has truly shown me where my passion lies. Sometimes making a choice, taking a chance and experiencing change can provide an opportunity for revealing what has been taken for granted or has been overlooked. As yet I’m not sure just how my foray back into doing what I’ve done previously is going to look. Will I work the same way? Or will there be new and different approaches taken? Only time will tell.

As human beings we are capricious. We often focus on what is lacking rather than on what is right in front of us. This tendency provides plentiful opportunity for questioning, reflecting, analysing and understanding. I’ve used the five year hiatus to gain a stronger sense of my own value, to grow spiritually, further hone my skills and to also understand my insignificance in the bigger scheme of things.

Life is precious. Every moment offers opportunity for appreciation, growth, learning and more. Right now, from what I understand my astrology friends are saying, there are a lot of planets in retrograde. When combined with eclipses the cosmic energies don’t necessarily support us in forward movement. What, however, they do is provide an opportunity for inner growth, expansion and exploration.

Who are you? What are you here for? What choices and possibilities are available to you? What changes are desirable? How can you create desired change? And, what chances need to be taken? If you are in any way unhappy or dissatisfied with the way things are going then right now is a really good time to reflect, plan and begin creating the changes you desire. There’s a lot to be said for the well-known statement, “The longest journey begins with the smallest of steps.”  Only you can know what you need do in order to continue on this journey called life. It’s up to you to make the most of this journey, to make choices and take the chances that support you emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

And, remember, there are no right or wrong choices. Every choice offers opportunities for learning and growth in one way or another. Personally I prefer to think of them as ‘detours’, and some are pleasant while others are not so. Make the journey an adventure, view the positive experiences with joy, view the less than positive experiences for what they offer in terms of understanding. But ultimately, live with gratitude knowing you have options along with the power to manifest magnificently.

CONFESSION TIME:

My latest book was released earlier this year, but not published under my name. My publisher insisted that I used a pen name. Some of you may be aware of this fact, others may not. However, I believe in transparency and happily admit that I’ve been blessed with countless weird, wonderful, out of this world experiences. It’s not easy feeling like the misfit, the person who doesn’t fit in, whose world view seems to be at odds with the general consensus. Yet, there are many people like myself who feel this way and if my story in any way helps even one person be true to who they are then I’ll have done my job.

The book is entitled A Square Peg: Conformity Isn’t An Option. Pen name is Gabriella Jaye. Published by Balboa Press and it’s available internationally at all good retail outlets and is also as an eBook. Check out the reviews on www.amazon.com

I also started a blog to support the book’s release – http://asquarepeg.blog – it’s still in its infancy, but hopefully it will also provide a forum for others to share their stories and experiences.

Dynamics of Change Process

It’s yet another new year and I trust that it has begun effortlessly. Have you determined to fulfil some New Year’s resolutions? And, if so, what are your chances of succeeding?

It seems that generally New Year’s resolutions often end up going by the wayside, possibly because the targets or goals set are too difficult for the individual to maintain consistently.

Once the feeling of failure enters any situation the most likely response and perception is that, “This is too hard maybe I’ll be ready for this change next year”. After several years of following this pattern the individual then finally gives up attempting to make the changes required to give up addictions, to eat healthier, to lose weight, etc. Or, as is sometimes the case the individual begins to make some real progress with their resolution but as time progresses find their resolve weakens and eventually there is a reversal to previous behaviour patterns.

What is the dynamic that keeps us stuck in behavioural patterns? How do emotions contribute to this?

In his powerful research nearly one hundred years ago, Napolean Hill, found a recurring pattern taking place with individuals who aspired to follow their passion, their dream. He records this beautifully in Think and Grow Rich, a book that’s as widely relevant today as it was when published.

Hill found that highly successful people hold deep convictions – and determination – to succeed. They hold faith in their aspirations. But, interestingly, every person who succeeds does not give up when the going gets really tough. Hill identified a phase that occurs just before success is within grasp. This phase we would probably label as “the darkest hour before dawn”.

It is this incredibly dark and challenging time that separates successful people from those who fail to reach their goals. Pushing forward when most challenged is what produces desired results. In fact, those perceived insurmountable challenges can be viewed as necessary precursors to creating lasting change.

We live in a world filled with uncertainty and constant change. Regardless of whether or not New Year’s resolutions are made we are continually faced with situations that require change in some form or another. When there is a resistance to change this results in feelings of dis-empowerment, helplessness and also possibly intense emotions such as anger or apathy.

Human emotions, belief systems and behavioural patterns all contribute, and respond, to the change processes as they occur. These factors can be viewed as either detrimental or supportive. It is basically a matter of how they are perceived.

For example, when faced with a challenge that poses the opportunity for change occurring on some level do you resist, viewing it as a potential threat to your existence? Or, do you view the challenge as possibly having some potential for positive change, maybe even new opportunities?

Some years ago I encountered a research article about vision and beliefs. The research demonstrated that it’s not a matter of believing what is seen but is actually the reverse – we see what we believe! This indicates that our belief systems actually create our reality. Beliefs are basically perceptions that we hold around people, issues and the world at large that have been inculcated via generational patterning, repetition and acceptance of the status quo.

Over time, due to the repetitive nature of beliefs (perceptions), they become ‘truth’. And, it becomes all too easy to accept as complete truth beliefs that actually have little or no real basis in reality. In my book, The New World of Self Healing, I write, “You believe what you know. What you come to know becomes your truth. Your view of what is true comes from your observation of the world and is greatly shaped by the beliefs and knowledge you have acquired.”

While this may sound somewhat convoluted I believe that this actually means there is an opportunity to dismantle erroneous beliefs and to open to new, and often healthier, ways of perceiving yourself and reality. If a belief is merely the creation and repetition of thoughts and emotions then conscious application and intention to change can create positive and desired outcomes.

How does this process work? How can simple changes in thought and intention manifest desired, lasting and meaningful changes?

Some common limitations to manifesting positive change include:

  • Lack of self worth. This includes I’m not good enough, not intelligent enough, not pretty enough, etc.
  • Self hatred or dissatisfaction with self. This includes abusive thoughts, emotions and behaviours towards the self.
  • Feelings of victimhood and disempowerment.
  • Reliance on external validation in order to feel accepted.
  • Believing other peoples’ needs and emotions are more important.

Becoming the observer, or witness, to your emotions and beliefs is an easy step to changing beliefs and truths. Some questions to ask are:

  • Why do I believe this?
  • What is the belief underlying this emotion or reaction?
  • Is there any validity to the belief?
  • Where does this belief originate?
  • Does this belief serve me well now?
  • If not, what is the appropriate belief (and behaviour) to replace it with?

Once there is understanding around beliefs and truths then it’s a matter of consciously and consistently creating new, positive and supportive attitudes and actions. Letting go of old beliefs requires significant inner work. It necessitates conscious awareness of patterns that have become habituated, along with a willingness to let go of those that no longer serve your highest good. In other words, anything that doesn’t feel good, that inhibits your growth as a human being and that limits your enjoyment of life needs to be released with love.

A number of strategies can assist in releasing limiting patterns and behaviours.

  1. Meditation is a powerful tool for letting go. Setting the intention to release with love all that no longer serves your highest good, then going into a meditative state and visualizing the old limitations releasing assists in releasing the layers of cellular memory.
  2. Make a declaration of release. This facilitates the release of stagnant energy memory. Choose your own meaningful statement or possibly something like this, “I release with love all emotions and thoughts that have contributed to…… I release them from all times, planes and dimensions. I replace them with the energy of unconditional love and know the Universe provides abundance in all things.”
  3. Old habits have a way of resurfacing. You have the power to change the old patterns of response and functioning. Whenever a thought intrudes that you are not good enough, lack talent, etc then affirm aloud the exact opposite. Affirm that you are successful, that you are deserving, etc. In other words, you are re-programming your consciousness when undertaking this process.
  4. Write lists of all your special skills, talents and qualities. Write lists of how other people see you. Listing these is very revealing. When doing this you may have awareness of some negative qualities you wish to change. If so, write them as a positive statement and describe how you will achieve this intended change. Refer to the lists as often as you choose. Use them in affirming ways in everyday life situations. Continual reinforcement of your worth and success will pay dividends.

Gandhi is often quoted as saying, You must be the change you wish to see in the world. Changing from within is essential to this process. All the New Years’ resolutions will only succeed insofar as there has been sufficient inner change to create the external changes.

Popular literature often uses the words ‘self sabotage’ to describe our failure to fulfil our desires. While this term is widely understood and even hints at failure I much prefer to focus on the concept of re-programming. This is because our beliefs, thoughts, emotions, etc have all been programmed into our conscious and sub-conscious minds via our life experiences. Consequently, being such powerful beings we have the power to re-program those aspects of our character and behaviours that we know are detrimental to our health and wellbeing.

The journey of inner change and growth is essential to the creation of an external reality that has equity, generosity, shared community values, co-operation, and so on. The global changes we all hope to see in our lifetime will only occur when we undertake the work necessary to change the inner landscape.

Shifting to ‘we’ Consciousness

I trust that you’re surviving the intense astrological effects that have been happening this past month or so. While I’m not into astrology per se I’m fortunate to have colleagues who are and who keep me posted. It seems that this has been a time of going deep and releasing the old issues, belief systems, values, memories, pain, etc.

Whatever has been stored within for a long time has been provided the ideal conditions astrologically for their release, providing a resultant opportunity for a great deal of healing. If you are observing turmoil and stress in the world around you then you are witnessing signs of change happening – as has been predicted by the Mayans, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce and many others.

If you doubt that change is happening globally then all you need do is look at what is happening with the weather patterns. I’m attaching a youtube link that actually shows real earth changes are occurring right now!

This week a section in one of Sydney’s daily newspapers focused on the Green Global Awards and this article listed quite a number of businesses that are leading the way in sustainability, environmental regeneration and innovation.

What really caught my eye though is an article entitled ‘Hippies Got It Right’. The article described how Nimbin, a small colorful community, that is well known for its alternative and sustainable lifestyle, finally received recognition for its focus on living sustainably, food self-sufficiency and community living. Many years ago the community recognized the need for food security. The manager of the community centre is quoted as saying:

“(Our environmental initiatives) have been seen as more of an alternative mission, but now they’re things that are seen as quite sensible.”

Examples of what this alternative community has achieved in about 40 years include:  a thriving community centre, farmers’ markets, establishment of a solar farm, small to medium scale local food production and supply, environmental initiatives that result in job creation and much more.

It is interesting to note that this community, once touted as being for hippies and those who are alternative, is now cited as being a leading example to the rest of the country in terms of greening, conservation and sustainability. Maybe there is a great deal that we can all learn from alternative communities that have been established. Maybe living alternatively might even be better for our overall health and wellbeing?

Community focused living results in a shift from the ‘me’ mentality into a ‘we’ collaborative arrangement. It’s a well-known fact that when there is disaster and chaos in a country, city or region that the population works together to support those affected. Studies indicate that morale and attitude improve when there is a sense of togetherness, where there is a sense of working towards the same outcomes that benefit everyone.

It is not necessary to actually live in a community that is set up the way that Nimbin is in order to participate in community. Currently I belong to Slow Food  (www.slowfood.com) which is a global community that focuses on reclaiming our traditional ways of growing, sharing and storing food produce, which in turn reduces reliance on the large multi-national food corporations, supermarket food chains etc.

There are other global, national and local communities that may just offer you an opportunity to share and contribute your expertise, and from which you may also learn and develop new skills that generate feelings of satisfaction and joy.

The intense astrological energies of the past month or so are already waning now that the equinox has just passed. From what I understand we are now moving into a phase of expansion and greater opportunities for change, a time for manifestation and dream realization.

If you experienced the intense energies of the past month or so you might now be ready to shift from going within to looking outwards at the larger picture and to creating changes you’ve long desired.

Some simple, but highly effective, strategies that support changing the energies include:

  1. Giving gratitude daily for all that you have, including giving gratitude for the things that you would like but are still to manifest. Remember to express gratitude as if they are already in your life!
  2. Spending time in silence daily – this is to enable you to hear the voice of your soul, which will then provide the guidance needed.
  3. Spending time in nature daily, preferably in bare feet. Allow your feet to touch the earth, to feel her strength and to feel her filling your body with strength and healing.
  4. Giving generously of your time to yourself first and then to others. By this I mean ensure your needs are fulfilled so that you do not feel resentment when others demand your time and attention.
  5. Explore options for growth and change. Find what excites you – this provides opportunity for moving in new directions, for finding peace and excitement about living during a time of significant change.
  6. Create a vision for the future. What are the changes and improvements you see? As you create this vision you will find that the universe supports you in making the changes needed to create your vision.

Most likely you also have your own special techniques that support you when times are tough and when you are faced with challenging changes. Use whatever strategies that work best and leave you feeling comfortable within. Remember that changes don’t always occur according to your schedule. Universal timing and planning take precedence!

Riding the Waves of Change

Holiday season is a time for spending quality moments with family and friends, and reflecting on the important things in life. It also happens to be one of the most stressful times of the year.

Currently we are experiencing some incredibly intense energies as our planet and solar system are moving further into the photon belt. This phenomenon occurs every twenty-four to twenty-six thousand years (depending on which school of thought you follow). When this happens there is a significant shift in vibration, shifting everything into much higher frequencies.

While this is something that can be discussed academically, and which we may think really doesn’t impact us greatly, the truth is that we have been impacted and affected by these changes for some years. The intensity of these energetic changes, however, has dramatically increased in recent months.

Currently stress, tension and anxiety seem to be highly prevalent in our society. It’s easy to lay the blame for this occurrence on our economic climate, erratic weather conditions, poor crop harvests and on declining employment opportunities. These, however, are merely indicators of the significant shift that is occurring.

As the intensity of the higher energetic frequencies impact our physical bodies we find ourselves in a state of dissatisfaction and flux. Some of the indicators that are evident within society include:  relationships ending;  family dissension;  employment dissatisfaction;  friendship dissolution;  change of residence/locality;  and increasing suicides.

While the above factors may all be viewed as potential disasters they in fact indicate that on a deep level there is significant inner change occurring. Anything and everything that is of a lower vibration cannot – and will not – survive and flourish in the higher frequencies.

This means that lower frequency energies that once held relationships together no longer do so, employment situations that are detrimental to one’s highest good will change, etc.

The process of shifting from the lower frequency into the higher frequency vibrations is not without its challenges. There is often great mental and emotional pain. At times there is physical manifestation, in terms of illness conditions.

So, how can we best ride the waves of change with minimum impact on our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing?

There are no hard and fast guidelines. Each person is unique and has a unique biochemistry. What may work beautifully for one individual may have no impact on another’s state of wellbeing.

Some suggestions that may provide assistance in coping with the intense stress and anxiety that is occurring at the moment include:

1.  Begin each day with a heartfelt expression of gratitude. This may relate to some particular aspect of your life, or it may be more general.

2.  Undertake daily recreation and relaxation activity – this may include walking, gardening, swimming, meditation, yoga, tai chi, etc. Anything and everything that helps lower stress levels. This does not include competitive activities!

3.  When a challenging situation arises over which you have absolutely no control, remind yourself gently, “This too shall pass”. A very powerful statement that assists in letting go of attachment and expectation.

4.  Deal with issues as they arise, instead of putting them to one side and worrying needlessly.

5.  Avoid stimulants and activities that induce a ‘flight or fight’ response in your body. This may mean no longer watching drama or action television last thing at night – but you will sleep so much better!

6.  Remove all electrical appliances from your bedroom and sleep in the dark – your body will heal as you sleep without the interference from ‘dirty electricity’ emitted by appliances.

7.  When a situation arises ask yourself, “Is this my problem?” If it is then deal with it. If it’s not then allow the person responsible to handle the issue/s.

8.  Let go of the need to control and learn to Trust.

9.  Worry less and laugh more.

10.  Take time daily to be in nature. Smell the roses, hug a tree and allow your body to enjoy and absorb the sun’s healing rays.

I am sure there are many other practical and helpful suggestions to reduce the stress of the changing times. It’s up to you to find the methods of letting go and relaxing that work for you – and when you do, then stick with those methods.

If you have other suggestions I welcome them. Just share your comments for others to read and adopt! We are all in this together, and the more we support one another and develop a sense of community the less stressful the whole process of shifting into the new and higher frequencies will be.

A Time of Silence and Reflection

 The Reincarnation Cycle

You are living in a time of tumultuous change. You have been preparing for this for eons. I do not use the word eons lightly. You have, through the reincarnation cycle, come into your body time and again. You have chosen through that reincarnation cycle to experience all aspects and facets of humanity. Your psyche has experienced pain, untold suffering, intense emotion, conflict, sadness and in the midst of all this your psyche has also experienced times of joy and pleasure. There have been gleanings of happiness and peace. Yet, as you well know – and you know this from studying history books – the course of humanity in recent times and by this I mean, during the times of the recent civilization, of which you are a part – the course of humanity of recent times has not been one of great joy and upliftment overall.

The darkness – as some would call it – has been intense, and cultures and civilizations upon the planet have experienced the depths of degradation, of deprivation and of intense and untold barbarity as one human is pitted against another. As beings you have awareness of this. In your embodiment, in this particular lifetime, you have determined that this history that has been written in the history books must be changed.

Changing the Course of History

In this instance it is not wishful thinking. You have embodied in other lifetimes with the intention of creating a lightening of the energies, of serving humanity and to divert its course so that it did not and does not remain entrenched in such depths of inhumanity. But as you know from history books those who have come to change the world throughout the course of history have only succeeded marginally. They have been what you may refer to as the ‘bright lights’. As bright lights they have inspired and offered hope in order that others may follow on and create a positive and enduring outcome for humanity.

Yet, despite the efforts and intentions of these blessed souls you are now at a juncture whereby you and others like yourself have come back in large numbers to once and for all turn the tide. Turn the tide so that the inhumanity of which I speak will no more be. The deprivation, the degradation will in time become viewed as ancient history. These barbaric acts that have been perpetrated upon humanity generation after generation in one country after anotherwill in time become a thing of the past. And, you and others like yourself are here to ensure that this is how it will be.

You are here in large numbers – as I say – not only to turn the tide but to create lasting change. This lasting change has often been prophesized and referred to as the One Thousand Years of Peace. In your heart you may feel a tingle of excitement when you think of this. Your heart may race and you may wonder how can this be achieved, and you will know how wonderful it will be when every individual upon this planet knows there is nothing to fear and that all is in harmony.

You are not Insignificant

From where you sit at this moment you may wonder, ‘How can I, insignificant I, make a difference?’ You are very important to the process. Do not for one moment view yourself as insignificant or incapable of creating and supporting this major shift. This is what you have come to do. This is the excitement that has been building amongst many souls. This is the eagerly awaited for event. This is why there is such a huge population upon the planet at this time. There are many souls who know what is to come, who know that in order for the transformation to occur there must be change. In order for change to happen it involves many minds, hearts and hands working together in community, in collaboration.

No More Isolation or Separation

The time of isolation and feeling alone is no more. It is now the time for all individuals to see themselves as part of the One and to feel and experience that oneness with others in community, knowing there is no separation. There is a reconnection that is taking place. It is occurring energetically as I speak. There are many individuals who are striving within to become a better person, to make changes in their life.

As soon as they begin this process they emit a certain vibration and in emitting that vibration energetically there is a connection with others. This results in a ripple effect when one individual is connected energetically with the next, and the next and the next. Before you know it there is a commonality of energies, all striving individually and yet collectively to transform this planet. If you have not yet explored the possibility of connecting with other like-minded souls, of allowing your mind to be open to all potentialities I encourage you to begin doing so now.

There is within your culture still some skepticism and some individuals still feel isolated even though they are striving for meaning. Those who have reached the place of understanding what this transformation encompasses are in a position to lead and guide others.

Intense Vibrational Increases

Earlier in the discussion This One made mention of earth changes and the passing of many souls. Currently there are dramatic, intense and powerful energy shifts occurring on every level as humanity and planet Earth are transitioning from one vibration to another, to another and another.

Some may refer to this process as shifting from third dimension into fourth and into fifth dimensional reality. I say again – as I’ve said before – do not limit yourself in this regard. Do not for one moment define yourself as attaining a certain level of vibration and then saying, ‘This is it. I have done what I came to do.’ Oh no, oh no, that again is a mind limitation. Those terminologies that refer to the shift – whether those terminologies include words such as dimension or ascension process – are merely indicators used to shift consciousness and awareness. Time and again I have made it abundantly clear that your soul is multi-dimensional and if you choose to not be limited you also have the potential in this life time to become truly multi-dimensional.

There are no limits other than those you place upon yourself, other than those you impose upon your reality, other than those you choose to restrict and limit you. There are no limitations – none whatsoever. For those who choose to take not only the quantum leap into higher frequencies but who choose to go beyond what some have defined as fifth dimensional reality and to open yourself to your truly multi-dimensional aspects you will find this to be a truly transformative and liberating experience. You will find that you will have shifted your vibration and energies to such a high degree that you will be able to function as the avatars, the masters and the gifted ones have done at varying times in history.

This is not the lifetime where you will attain such a degree of proficiency by merely meditating and isolating yourself from the rest of your community. In the past it was the way in which the adepts and masters attained such degree of proficiency. For them the vibration in the surrounding world was indeed extremely dense and heavy. In order to attain such a high level of awareness they were able to do this only by retreating into silence, to be in connection not only with nature but with divine inspiration and Source. This was the only means, or the only conditions that supported such enormous growth and shift in consciousness.

Now, however, everyone upon the planet has this potential – if you so choose. And, not attaining it through isolation, withdrawal and going into the silence, but by living spiritual truth in community, by living spiritual integrity in harmony with others, by being mindful and aware at all times. This involves mindfulness and awareness of your thoughts.

The Challenge of Thought

Let us focus on thought for a moment. This is one of the most challenging aspects for any and all individuals to master. It is stated in the Bible that in the beginning there was the word. It is well touted and acknowledged that it is the word that creates. The word creates reality on a continuous basis. Those individuals who are mindful of their thoughts – their thoughts being their words – know their thoughts create. They endeavor to use only thoughts, or words, that enhance and create a higher expression.

This is where the challenge arises. In the culture of this great country a vast amount of energy has been expended in encouraging individuals to speak. If an individual does not speak openly or articulate clearly they are left behind. If an individual is unable to express their needs and wants immediately and in a loud and clear manner then they are overlooked. The art of speaking has become so predominant within this culture, to such a degree that the art of mindfulness of speech has been lost. It has been overlooked and then gradually lost.

When individuals, from time to time, hold back and do not speak then in most instances they are thinking. They are thinking the words and thoughts that they are not expressing verbally. The art of silence has been lost. The art of silence is one of the most profound ways of developing and creating that level of consciousness and awareness of which I speak.

It is common for some individuals – certainly not for the majority of the population – to take time in their daily routine to enter the meditative state. In this meditative state they, with diligence and practice, experience the silence. It is a well-known fact that once the meditation has ceased and an individual returns to the stresses of daily life then the mind chatter starts once again, and the verbalizing then follows.

What I advocate as a way of shifting consciousness and awareness into such a state of alignment with Source energy is that it is vitally important to find the silence within at every possible moment. I have advocated breathing – focused breathing – as a means of silencing the mind. That is the first step.

When it comes to thinking and expressing yourself the next step is to be aware of your expression. In other words, think about what you are going to say before you speak. Are you using words that hold a vibration that uplifts, creating wellness and happiness within? Or are your thoughts and words negative that bring you down and create a feeling of lowered energy within?

It has become habit to speak without thinking. The art of silence has long been lost within this culture. The art of reflection has also been lost. While I say this it does not mean it has to remain this way. Far from it. It is up to you, one by one, to begin this process of taking every opportunity to be with yourself in silence. Then, before speaking to reflect upon the true meaning of what it is you wish to express. Is what you wish to express beneficial to yourself and to others? Is it for the highest good of all? Will it uplift you and others?

Then look at the syntax and structure of your expression. Are you desiring to feel lightened by what you say? If you express statements that leave you feeling less than lightened reflect upon your language, reflect upon the words that create the dampening of mood. Then in your reflection ask, ‘What words, or word, would be more appropriate? What word or words would lift my mood?’ You have the intelligence to do this. Put it into practice. As you change within, as you change your mindfulness around your use of language all that you desire to create becomes a much stronger potentiality and in time manifests in the way your heart desires.

It is commonplace, as it was during my time, often to speak without thinking. What I am saying now – because of the changing vibrations and higher frequencies upon this planet that there are so many people worldwide aspiring to transform – that when you speak without thinking the manifestation of that expression occurs almost instantaneously. In most instances you are not aware that you have created this manifestation.

Mindfulness is Important

This is why I advocate that time is taken to go into silence and to reflect. In doing this you feel and reflect upon the structure of the language used. When doing this you will rapidly erase, omit and delete many of the common phrases and words used. You will realize they have a resonance of a lower vibration. You will be amazed at how many of the commonly used words in today’s language have this lower resonance or vibration and do not serve you well. Once you make this discovery you will feel liberated. You will feel clearer and willfeel empowered in ways not previously experienced.

As I said, it is the word that creates. You are aware of the changes occurring across the planet. You are aware of the impact these changes are having upon individuals and communities. By making what you may consider to be very minor changes within yourself and within your language usage and structure you begin to change your reality. As you do this and the next person does the same thing and so on, before you know it there is a collective generation of energy that will help shift the vibration right across the planet.

The Larger Picture

It does not require the conscious intention and application of every person across the planet to make this change. There is a certain percentage that is required for this to happen. It is interesting to note – for I am aware of what is being publicized in the media – I am aware that some individuals will say that when ten percent of the population ‘gets it’ that the whole population will evolve. Others claim twenty-five percent. But, how do you measure this? What I say instead is that when you endeavor to shift your vibration through conscious intention you rapidly begin to accelerate and as energy begins to shift within you then there is the ripple effect so that others feel it. There is no set percentage required. How can you measure the vibrational shift? How can you measure who is vibrating at a third dimensional level and who is at a fifth dimensional level, or who even may be at the seventeenth vibrational level or higher?

The technology for that has not yet been developed. In fact it is not relevant. The motivating energy for the change comes from here, within you, through mindfulness, awareness and intention. Through that you place the intention and begin the journey of shifting to the higher frequencies. There is no place to stop. You keep going. There are those, like myself from beyond the veil, who are here to support and guide you. You know this well enough. Some forget to ask. Others are finding the changes too painful. It is up to you to decide what is your path, what resonates for you. What do you intuitively know you are here to do? Once you have that awareness, then apply yourself. You are extremely important. This journey is your journey. You do not need permission from others. Nor do you follow in someone else’s footsteps. You travel the journey. You create the journey. You are the master of your journey. It all comes from the heart. When you apply the heart, the feeling from the heart, the intention from the heart, into everything you do then you will begin to feel the shift of the vibration more keenly than ever before.

I thank you for your attentiveness and open myself to questions.

Managing the Challenges of 2012

We are now more than half way through 2012. Is it unfolding as you had expected or anticipated? Or, did you think that the year would become relatively easy as it nears December? Most people I encounter comment on the intensity of the energies, the constant challenges and also the depth of pain that is being experienced.

Why is this happening? What does it portend for the remaining months of the year? And, will things eventually become easier, calmer and more joyful?

More than ten years ago I channeled – many times – that we would be coming to a time of rapid change. It is interesting to observe that the information relating to these changes is now evident to my eyes.

What are some of the significant changes that were ‘forecast’?

  • There would be an overwhelming amount of media information available. This is obvious as we are being inundated with information from the media and technology/communications networks. There are more books being written than ever before, many individuals are feeling inspired to share their thoughts and experiences.
  • All that has been hidden and kept secret would be revealed. This we see constantly as more whistle blowers reveal the dirty secrets of organizations and people in power.
  • There would be many individuals who would claim to be the truth tellers. There is no shortage of individuals claiming to know what the current world situations mean and who offer opportunities for redemption.
  • The disintegration of organizations and structures would also begin. We are certainly seeing this happening in the financial markets, the housing industry, trade agreements, etc.
  • An increase in illnesses and conditions for which the medical profession would have no clear labels or ability to accurately diagnose. This is something that I encounter more frequently as I hear clients’ stories.
  • Earth changes are inevitable. This is so that Earth can clear the heavy energy she has been carrying for humanity and from there transform into the higher frequencies – as she is destined to do.
  • Many souls would choose to depart the Earth plane. They would be going ‘home’, back to the Light, as the intensity of the changes would be too intense for them.

All the above are already evident in our rapidly changing global community. It is all too easy to focus on what is not ‘right’ or on what feels uncomfortable or threatening. Yet, the information channeled all those years ago also provided clear insight as to how to minimize the impact of the changes. Some of the suggestions include (but are not limited to):

1.   Learn discernment. This means getting in touch with your inner guidance system (gut feeling/intuition ) and trusting what feels right or not right for you.
2.   Realize and accept that all that’s happening is an external manifestation of the inner chaos that is occurring. You have a choice as to whether or not you wish to engage with those energies or to remain the detached observer.
3.   Find your center of balance and remain within it. This means observing, sending love and trusting that whatever is happening is for the highest good of all.
4,   Spend time in nature. Connect with the Earth energies as they help clear and balance your energy field.
5.   Shift into a state of unconditional love. This is humanitarian love and comes from within, from the heart center and is not a state of mind – it’s a state of being.
6.   Focus on becoming the very best that you can be. Allow others to do the same for themselves.
7.   Accept that the shift into the higher frequencies is occurring with a great deal of guidance and support from the cosmic universe. This means that there are times when it is painful – use these as opportunities for growth and increased awareness.

When I channeled the energy of Edgar Cayce he made it abundantly clear that 2012 would end up being whatever we made it, and that it’s up to us to determine the reality we choose to experience.

Let’s endeavor to spend the remaining months of 2012 in a state of awareness, gratitude and love. The more we do this the more we manifest a reality that reflects that intention! I realize that sometimes it’s challenging to feel gratitude and love when confronted by a challenging situation. Yet, that is precisely the best time to do this, as immediately it begins to change the energy of whatever challenge is being experienced.

A simple mantra to begin each day is: “I am grateful for the experiences I have today as they enable me to evolve and live in greater harmony.”

And, at the end of each day remember to express gratitude for that day’s experiences and the opportunities they have presented.
